RTF directed and produced a multi, city capture across the tour’s North American run, using cinematic camera systems, FPV drones, and crowd rigs.
Post-Production
Delivered a hero film and multiple cutdowns for digital distribution, press, and paid social, all mixed directly to ODESZA’s stems for rhythm perfect sync.
Distribution
Released globally across ODESZA’s and Live Nation’s official channels, becoming the definitive visual asset for The Last Goodbye campaign.
“The Last Goodbye – Official World Tour Film”
Purpose
To create a cinematic world tour film that captured the emotional gravity and visual scale of ODESZA’s The Last Goodbye, transforming a live show into an immersive story about memory, connection, and sound.
Live Nation needed a centerpiece video that would extend the life of the tour online, driving engagement, ticket sales, and cultural relevance long after the lights went out.
Concept
Respect the Funk conceived a visual journey through light, rhythm, and emotion, an edit that felt like an echo of the live experience itself.
The piece combined slow motion macro moments with wide-format aerials and time synced light choreography, creating a hypnotic rhythm that let audiences relive the transcendence of an ODESZA show.
Impact
- This project established Respect the Funk as a leading creative partner for large-scale live experiences translating the ephemeral feeling of performance into timeless cinematic storytelling. It demonstrated RTF’s signature balance of emotional depth and visual precision, and cemented its reputation for turning moments into movements. “We didn’t just film a concert, we captured what it feels like to say goodbye together.”
