The Goal
Launch Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2021 with a trailer that instantly communicates the world, the energy, and the scale then translate that creative into scroll stopping social content that drives hype, awareness, and conversions leading into the event.
The Challenge
Trailers can’t just “look cool”, they have to sell a feeling in seconds. For Beyond, that means balancing:
- Immersive wonderland visuals with high impact pacing
- Clarity for announcements with cinematic storytelling
- A hero edit that works on web/YouTube and modular moments that perform on social
Our Approach
- 1) World building first
- We treated the festival like a universe capturing the tone, atmosphere, and “enter the rabbit hole” energy that defines Beyond.
- 2) Momentum driven editorial
- Fast, intentional pacing designed to hold attention built around peaks, reveals, and visual surprises that keep the viewer locked.

- We structured the edit so key sequences could break cleanly into cutdowns, teasers, and announcement posts without losing impact.
